The interior of this performance-focussed well-equipped saloon features Anthracite cloth and leather interior, blue instrument dials and brushed aluminium trim inlays and the original Alpina stamped floor mats.

Under the bonnet is a twin-turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which develops around 214 bhp and 332lb-ft of torque, and drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. Based on the E90-generation BMW 320d, the hand-built D3 Bi-Turbo features an uprated version of the BMW 123d’s twin-turbocharged diesel engine, with larger Garrett turbochargers, injectors and intercooler and a modified engine management system.
